His presentation introduced the two rising technologies which are organ-chip and POCTs (Point-of-Care Testings). Based on studies about cell-electronics and combined with electric, optical, magnetic technologies, their research group realized nanotoxicity teating using in vitro BBB(Blood-brain barrier) model. As for POCTs, they focused on wearable biosensors and hand-held read-out device, developed implantable sensors monitoring glucose and pH of human. Professor Li also emphasize cooperation between research and enterprise, educations, especially cooperation between different disciplines. At the end of the report, he had a heated discussion with teachers and students in BEBC. After that, he was invited to look around the labs of BEBC.
